Swansea will have central defender Ben Wilmot available again for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match at home to Reading.
The Watford loanee, who has been an unused substitute in seven of the Welsh club’s eight league matches so far, was ineligible to play against his parent club on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup but could be back in the squad for this clash at the Liberty Stadium.
Steve Cooper, Swansea’s head coach, will be missing striker Aldo Kalulu, who continues to work his way back to fitness from an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, full-back Jake Bidwell will serve the second game of his three-match suspension after the red card he received at Bristol City last weekend, and the fitness of Ben Cabango will be checked after he felt some pain in his hamstring against Watford.
Reading manager Jose Gomes is expected to recall a number of his key men for the trip to south Wales.
The Royals made 10 changes for the Carabao Cup tie at Wolves on Wednesday and only just missed out on a spot in the fourth round, losing on penalties.
On-loan Chelsea defender Matt Miazga was back in the XI after a hamstring injury and the returning Tyler Blackett started too.
The former is expected to retain his place in the line-up, but forward Danny Loader has struggled with illness of late and could miss out again.
