Watford and Swansea set to ring changes for Carabao Cup clash

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores has no fresh injury concerns as he prepares his team for Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup third-round clash with Swansea.
The Hornets boss was likely to make changes anyway even before Saturday’s 8-0 Premier League drubbing at Manchester City, with Daryl Janmaat, Nathaniel Chalobah, Christian Kabasele and Andre Gray among those who could return.
Defender Craig Cathcart is working his way back from a thigh injury sustained on international duty with Northern Ireland, but the game will come too soon for him.
Skipper Troy Deeney remains on the sidelines as he continues his recovery after knee surgery, while fellow striker Isaac Success is also out with a groin problem.
Swansea head coach Steve Cooper is likely to make changes once again to hand his fringe players a chance to impress.
Cooper will be without full-back Jake Bidwell, who is suspended as a result of his red card in Saturday’s 0-0 Sky Bet Championship draw at Bristol City, as well as striker Aldo Kalulu as he continues to battle an ankle injury.
In addition, central defender Ben Wilmot, who is on loan at the Liberty Stadium from the Hornets, is ineligible to play against his parent club.
Cooper has made 11 changes in each of the last two rounds and is likely to shuffle his pack once again with Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Ben Cabango, Declan John, Kyle Naughton, Connor Roberts, Tom Carroll, Kristoffer Peterson, Yan Dhanda, Jordon Garrick, Barrie McKay, Sam Surridge, Wayne Routledge and Nathan Dyer among those hoping for a run-out.
