Injured White misses out for Southend

Southend will be without defender John White for the Sky Bet League One clash with Accrington.
Centre-back White has undergone surgery on a broken arm suffered during last weekend’s win at MK Dons.
Shrimpers top goalscorer Stephen Humphrys and midfielder Sam Mantom are available again after sitting out the Dons game because of illness, while Stephen McLaughlin will be in contention despite suffering a head knock in that match.
Striker Tom Hopper (knee) has returned to training but will not feature. Fellow long-term absentees Sam Barratt (knee) and Harry Kyprianou (Achilles) are also out, as is Liam Ridgewell (calf).
Accrington should be boosted by the return of striker Offrande Zanzala at Roots Hall.
Zanzala has not featured for Stanley since August 24 but manager John Coleman expects him to be involved after he completed a “tough training session” this week following a hamstring problem.
Stanley striker Colby Bishop will been given a late fitness test on an ankle injury but Billy Kee remains unavailable.
Midfielder Joe Pritchard is among the players pushing for a recall.
