Ebbsfleet and Eastleigh share the spoils

Lowly Ebbsfleet picked up another point with a 1-1 home draw against Eastleigh.
The hosts started the National League campaign with five straight defeats but have now lost just one of their next five.
They should have led early on but Alex Reid blasted over from six yards after being set up by Josh Umerah.
Reid redeemed himself in the 37th minute, converting James Ball’s cross from a similar position to give Ebbsfleet the lead.
But Eastleigh came out fighting after the interval and Tyrone Barnett broke free of his marker to fire in a 62nd-minute equaliser.
