Kabongo Tshimanga’s early brace helped Boreham Wood to a 3-1 home National League win over Dover.
The hosts hit the front inside two minutes when the striker dispatched a low ball from Sorba Thomas from close range.
Both sides exchanged chances in the next few minutes and the Wood were relieved when Josh Passley saw his effort cannon off the upright.
Tshimanga held off his marker superbly to double his tally, but midway through the first half Inih Effiong reduced the areas on the rebound after David Gregory had saved his initial penalty.
In the second half, despite some severe Dover pressure, Tyrone Marsh’s deflected effort looped over Lee Worgan to seal the points for Boreham.
