East Fife top after win at Forfar

East Fife came from behind to move to the top of Ladbrokes League One with a 2-1 victory at Forfar.
Victory in this rearranged game – due to be played on August 17 but postponed because of both teams’ involvement in the Betfred Cup – would have moved either team to the top.
The hosts took the lead in the 42nd minute, Ross Forbes marking his return to the starting line-up with a powerful strike.
However, East Fife turned things round impressively in the second half at Station Park.
They levelled in the 61st minute when Scott Agnew tapped home an Anton Dowds pass from close range and won it two minutes later when Dowds curled home.
