Sheffield Wed vs QPR - Sheffield Wednesday set to ring the changes for QPR clash

Sheffield Wednesday caretaker manager Lee Bullen will recall his big guns for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match with QPR.

Keiren Westwood, Tom Lees, Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher will be among those back in the Owls starting XI.

Massimo Luongo will hope to play some part against his former club QPR after making his full debut on Wednesday in the 1-0 win at Rotherham in the Carabao Cup second round.

Sam Winnall came off at half-time with blurred vision and will need to be assessed ahead of this weekend’s league encounter while defender Liam Palmer has missed the last handful of games with a back injury, but may return.

QPR boss Mark Warburton also made changes for the Carabao Cup, but it did not have the desired effect with Portsmouth running out 2-0 winners at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Rangers will remain without winger Olamide Shodipo due to a knee injury and midfielder Luke Amos missed the midweek home clash with a hamstring injury.

Warburton confirmed the prognosis for the Tottenham loanee Amos looks positive, though, and so he will hope to return shortly.

Lee Wallace has not made his QPR debut after joining this summer due to a hip problem and will miss the trip to Hillsborough, but Geoff Cameron is closing in on a return after a hamstring injury.
