Newport have fitness concerns over midfielders Joss Labadie and Robbie Willmott ahead of Saturday’s clash with Sky Bet League Two leaders Crewe.
Labadie was forced off with a hamstring injury during the midweek draw at Walsall, while Willmott also picked up a problem in that match.
Midfielders Scot Bennett (quad) and Matthew Dolan (hamstring) missed the draw at the Bescot Stadium and are unlikely to return
Centre-back Mickey Demetriou (broken leg) and striker Ade Azeez (Achilles) are out, while striker Jamille Matt (knock) is a doubt.
Crewe will give a late fitness test to defender Harry Pickering for the game at Rodney Parade.
The left-back was forced off with a hip problem during the midweek win at Crawley.
Norwegian striker Chuma Anene, signed on loan from Danish side Midtjylland, could make his Alex debut in south Wales.
Centre-back Olly Lancashire is available again after serving a one-match ban.
