Ludvig Ohman and Ahkeem Rose remain sidelined as Grimsby host Port Vale

Grimsby are set to be without Ludvig Ohman and Ahkeem Rose once more as they host Port Vale in League Two.

Ohman has a head injury while Rose is sidelined with a hamstring strain and manager Michael Jolley does not expect either to be fit for Saturday’s game.

The Mariners will check on Liam Gibson, who missed the midweek draw at Colchester due to illness.

Jolley has no fresh injury concerns after watching his side battle back from 2-0 down to earn a point on Tuesday night.

Vale are set to be without Cristian Montano as they look to continue their unbeaten start to their league campaign.

Montano suffered a slight concussion during Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Forest Green and is unlikely to feature this weekend.

Manager John Askey is unlikely to make too many other changes from midweek after watching his side secure their first victory of the campaign following three successive 1-1 draws.

Rhys Browne and Manny Oyeleke (both hamstring) are closing in on their returns from injury but neither will be available this weekend.
