Orient missing McAnuff while Stevenage options tighten

Leyton Orient will still be without experienced midfielders Jobi McAnuff and James Dayton ahead of their Sky Bet League Two clash with Stevenage at Breyer Group Stadium.
McAnuff, 37, remains sidelined as he recovers from surgery on his groin, alongside Dayton (ankle) who was stretchered off in a 2-1 win at Sutton United last season.
Jamie Turley, still recovering from a hamstring injury, has been reintroduced to training but will not be ready for the clash with the Boro.
Interim head coach Ross Embleton could make some rotations as Dale Gorman, Myles Judd, Louis Dennis and Joe Widdowson all made their first starts for the O’s in their 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat in Plymouth on Tuesday night.
Stevenage’s injury woes worsened after they had to finish with 10 men in Tuesday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup loss to Southend.
Dean Parrett, Charlie Carter, Scott Cuthbert and substitute Emmanuel Sonupe were forced off in the second half and all are doubts for Saturday.
Stevenage boss Dino Maamria may also have to wait a little longer for key men Ben Nugent and Joel Byrom (groin) to make their returns, while summer signings Tyler Denton and Paul Digby are still yet to make a competitive appearance.
Full-back Luis Fernandez, 17, could be in Saturday’s plans after impressing Maamria on his full debut on Tuesday night.
