Kane Vincent-Young move could be put on hold

Defender Kane Vincent-Young could return for Colchester’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Cambridge.
The full-back was not risked for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup win over Swindon due to a stubbed toe, which sparked rumours of a possible move to League One Ipswich.
Colchester have since reportedly accepted a bid for the 23-year-old but fellow full-back Cohen Bramall was sent off in midweek, with Vincent-Young expected to fill the void if he remains at the club.
Ryan Jackson looks set to keep his place in the starting line-up as Bramall starts his three-match ban, but Paris Cowan-Hall (Achilles) is unlikely to feature as he continues to build his fitness.
Cambridge will be without right-back Kyle Knoyle as they search for their first league win of the season.
Knoyle was forced off with a shoulder problem on the stroke of half-time during last weekend’s goalless draw against Newport and boss Colin Calderwood confirmed that the 22-year-old has been referred to a specialist.
Young full-back Leon Davies replaced Knoyle during the match and played the full 90 minutes during Cambridge’s penalty shoot-out win at Brentford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, so he is likely to retain his place.
Liam O’Neil will serve the final match of his three-game suspension, while midfielder Gary Deegan remains on the sidelines through illness.
