ARSENAL hero Sead Kolasinac has broken his silence after himself and Mesut Ozil were subjected to a shocking armed attack.

CCTV footage emerged yesterday showing Bosnia international Kolasinac exiting Ozil's car and fighting off men who surrounded the German's vehicle in Golders Green Road.

The men on motorbikes were seen wielding knives as they clashed with Kolasinac before running away, while Ozil left the gold-trimmed vehicle in the middle of the road and ducked into a restaurant.

The incident took place at 5pm on Thursday before the motorbikes then pursued Ozil's 4x4 in a high-speed chase that lasted for more than a mile, according to the Daily Mail.

Arsenal confirmed the club had spoken to the players following the incident and that they were both “fine”.

And Kolasinac has now reacted for the first time to confirm they are both ok following the shocking attack.

“Think we‘re fine,” posted Kolasinac on Twitter alongside a picture of the pair smiling.

Kolasinac’s tweet was met with a huge outpouring of praise from fans.

“Your a good friend and brother Sead. THE HULK,” said one.

“Mad respect to you man. No one messing with you again,” replied another.

“You are an absolute tank. I have nothing but respect and gratitude to have you as a Gunner,” said a third.

“You absolute king,” concluded a fourth.

Kolasinac and Ozil only returned to England the day before having been part of the Arsenal first-team squad on their tour of America.

The Arsenal playmaker and left-back are both due to feature in Sunday's Emirates Cup clash with Lyon at the Emirates Stadium.

But it remains to be seen if Unai Emery will play them following the incident.

No arrests have been made as yet and a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police has said: "It was reported that suspects on motorbikes had attempted to rob a man who was driving a car.

"The driver, along with his passenger, managed to get away unharmed and travelled to a restaurant in Golders Green, where they were spoken to by officers.

"There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue."
