The current Barcelona players received a warm welcome from their former teammates David Villa, Andres Iniesta and Sergi Samper in Kobe.
In an emotional moment, Iniesta greeted his Blaugrana friends including members of the coaching staff, such as the goalkeeping coach Jose Ramon de la Fuente.
The three Vissel Kobe Spaniards will face Barcelona on Saturday in the Catalan side's second friendly game of pre-season.
