Chelsea set return date for Rudiger

Chelsea are aiming for Antonio Ruidger to return for September's clash with Wolves.

The German international missed the final weeks of the season with a knee injury that eventually required surgery.

Rudiger has been working hard over the summer and will continue his rehabilitation at Cobham.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea plan for Rudiger to be available to face Nuno Espirito Santo's side on September 14.

If that strategy falls through, the Blues are adamant Rudiger will be right to face Liverpool the following weekend.
