21:45 UPDATE: Arsenal signing backed
Ex-Celtic boss Ronny Deila has claimed Kieran Tierney is better than Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and has insisted the Gunners would be signing a 'really good' player if they can reach an agreement for his services.
"Kieran would be really, really good at Arsenal — I know it," Delia told The Scottish Sun.
"He needs to improve a little bit technically, still. But at the same time he has everything else already and will learn the rest.
"I think Kieran has an even better mentality than Virgil. That's what I saw at that time."

There had been some uncertainty whether Maguire would be involved in the club's first pre-season friendly of the summer, but Brendan Rodgers clearly feels he is in the right mindset for some minutes.
Leicester are clearly prepared to keep Maguire integrated within the squad and are keen to continue preparations as normal, despite being told he wants to leave.

Man Utd are adamant there has been no agreement reached with Leicester as of yet for the signing of Harry Maguire.
Sources at the club have since made it clear to Express Sport that it is "not the case" that a fee has been agreed, nor that Maguire is scheduled in for a medical at Carrington.
Negotiations are believed to be ongoing between United and Leicester as they look to conclude a deal soon.
The defender has not handed in a transfer request but has informed Leicester chiefs and his team-mates that he wants to leave the club this summer.

Spanish daily Marca said Atletico, who finished runners-up in La Liga last season, have turned to Trippier after failing to sign Portugal right back Nelson Semedo from Barcelona.
Speaking after the Champions League final, the right back admitted his future with Tottenham was unclear, saying: "I want to stay in England but what can you do? I'll see what happens and what the club wants, most importantly."

17:15 UPDATE: Junior Firpo to Barcelona
It looks like Barcelona are going to win the battle to sign Real Betis wing-back Junior Firpo.
That's according to Marca, who claim the Catalan giants have a good chance of luring the 22-year-old to the Nou Camp.
Liverpool were thought to be interested in the Dominican-born defender as cover for Andrew Robertson.
Marca say Barcelona's first-choice target was Filipe Luis on a free transfer - but that now appears unlikely with the defender set to extend his stay at Atletico Madrid.
It's believed Real Madrid would be prepared to negotiate despite a £45million release-clause in his contract.

17:00 UPDATE: No Harry Maguire replacement
Leicester will not buy a replacement for Harry Maguire if the defender leaves for Manchester United or Manchester City this summer, according to reports.
The Foxes feel the England international is worth more in the region of £80-90m, eclipsing the world-record fee Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk in January 2018.
But if the King Power club get the riches they desire there are no plans to reinvest it in that position, according to Sky Sports.
"Been told #lcfc have no immediate plans to replace Harry Maguire if he leaves for #mcfc or #mufc," tweeted reporter Rob Dorsett.
"Club and Rodgers don't see value in market for defenders right now eg #burnley Tarkowski, #bhafc Dunk, and want to give Soyuncu and Benkovic opportunities alongside Morgan and Evans."

"But you know, there is a lot of interest. I hope yes, but I don't know what is going to happen with that."

Now, Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona will instead give 19-year-old Todibo a chance to prove himself rather than pursue other transfer targets.

"You cannot make a judgement when you don't have all the clues. I'm pretty sure we don't know everything in this situation."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists second-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is staying at the club this season despite the Belgian having concerns about his pitch time.
"Yes, (it's) how I've heard," said the German. "I've had a lot of conversations in the last couple of years, months - not weeks. Before we left (for the summer break) we had talk. I would say yes (he stays).
"At a club like Liverpool you need two number ones in the club and we have that with Ali and Simon.
"It's a good situation for the club and a situation you should have and that's why everything is fine from my point of view."

Sheffield United have signed forward Ravel Morrison on a one-year contract.

"Ravel is an undoubted talent and we are delighted that we have put together a deal that suits all parties," said Wilder. "I've spoken to a number of people about him and it is clear that he has serious ability.
"We are getting a fantastic footballer with a tremendous pedigree and this is a great opportunity for Rav, we believe we can help him get back to the level he wants to be."
14:15 UPDATE: Neil Lennon on Kieran Tierney
Celtic manager Neil Lennon insists the club are comfortable with their stance on Kieran Tierney after rejecting a second bid from Arsenal.
The Hoops are thought to value the left-back at £25million with the structure of the latest bid failing to tempt them to sell the Scotland international.
Lennon said: "The club's valuation of Kieran has not been met and until then we don't have a discussion to make."
When asked whether he expected Arsenal to return with a third offer, Lennon said: "I don't know what Arsenal's financial state is. I know what ours is and we are quite comfortable with the situation at the moment.
"There has been a second bid, the bid has been rejected and it's as you were."

"I'm delighted. It's all happened quite fast and it's been a quick turnaround," Byram said.
"Obviously, I was not in the plans for West Ham going forward and I needed a new challenge to go out and push on after last season."
13:45 UPDATE: DDG contract
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes David de Gea will agree a new contract with Manchester United.
The Spanish stopper's contract is set to expire in June 2020 - but reportedly wants upwards of £350,000 per week to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
"Hopefully we can agree a new contract with David," Solskjaer explained. "That will be up to the club and David to announce."
PSG, Juventus and Real Madrid - a club he was so close to joining in 2015 - have been linked to the Spain international, but Solskjaer is confident he will remain at United.

12:45 UPDATE: Laurent Koscielny talks
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed he spoke to Laurent Koscielny three times in a forlorn attempt to get his captain on the club's pre-season tour.
The Gunners announced last week that the former France international had refused to fly to the United States and his decision came after his request to have his contract terminated and find a new club was rejected, with disciplinary proceedings due as a result.
"He started training with us this pre-season and I spoke with him three times for his situation," Emery said. "We wanted him to come with us on this tour but he decided to stay. Now it is a matter for the club and for the player.
"We spoke with a good spirit for both the team and him but this is his decision, only his decision. He's speaking only with the club."

12:30 UPDATE: The final bid…
Arsenal will make a take-it-or-leave-it offer for Kieran Tierney – but won't go above the £25million that has already been tabled.
The Scottish champions turned down the Gunners' second bid, which they submitted on Friday.
The deal was potentially worth £25m but the Parkhead hierarchy were unhappy with the way it was structured and the fact that it included a number of add-ons to get to the top-line figure.
Celtic want the bulk of any potential transfer fee paid up front, with the add-ons guaranteed and with a sell-on clause before they would even consider sanctioning a deal for their prized asset.

11:45 UPDATE: Harry Maguire medical
Harry Maguire has left Leicester's training camp and is on the verge of signing for Manchester United.
That's according to transfer guru Ian McGarry, who claims the England international will undergo a medical at United's Carrington training complex in the next 48 hours.
"It's our understanding that soon Maguire has already left Leicester's training camp in France," he told the Transfer Window Podcast. "He will soon be coming back to the UK to finalise that deal.

11:30 UPDATE: Leeds want Ryan Kent
Leeds are interested in signing Liverpool duo Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson, reports claim.

11:15 UPDATE: Neymar demand
Barcelona have reportedly received a demand from Neymar that complicates his potential move from PSG to the Nou Camp.
It is claimed the PSG star is still seeking a loyalty payment from the Catalan club - something that has caused issues between all parties ever since his arrival.
He wants the full £40million from his old club which was promised to him when he renewed his contract in 2016.
Barcelona have so far only paid £18m.
Barcelona are refusing to budge, with the Catalan giants arguing that the £18m they paid should be RETURNED as it was linked to him remaining at the club for the entirety of his contract.
With that case still refusing to go away, Neymar's move to Barcelona is hanging by a thread.
