ALEXIS SANCHEZ took dogs Atom and Humber to Llandudno Pier in Wales this weekend as speculation mounted over his future at Manchester United.

The forgotten man, 30, and his pups took in the sights and sounds of the Welsh seaside town for a day away from the spotlight.

Sanchez is being tipped to be booted out of Man Utd this summer by boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a bid to offload his £505,000-a-week wages.

Paris Saint-Germain are one big club thought to be interested in a swoop - along with a host of clubs in the Chinese Super League.

But Sanchez appeared to not have a care in the world as he posed for pictures with fans and waved to other passers-by on his trip across the Welsh border.

The Chilean star, who swapped Arsenal for United in January 2018, will not be fit to take on Barcelona in this week's Champions League clash.

However, he is being tipped for a return in the away leg at the Nou Camp six days later - with this Saturday's game at home to West Ham perhaps coming too soon.

Sanchez has been out of action since early March with knee ligament damage, having scored just once in 17 Premier League games this term.

His dreadful form since leaving North London - scoring just three league goals in total - may see him frozen out of the squad altogether.

In fact, United sent scouts to watch Wayne Rooney's DC United team-mate Luciano Acosta with a view to a summer move.

Speaking after the game - a 4-0 defeat to LAFC - he admitted it was perhaps not the best time to have scouts from one of the world's biggest teams watching him.

Acosta said: "I'm obviously happy [United] were here. They came to see me, and obviously I just went out and tried my best.

"Today wasn't my day, we were up against a great opponent and in reality I'm just sad for the group's performance today, and mine too."
