Falkirk climbed out of the Ladbrokes Championship relegation play-off place following a 1-1 draw at Queen of the South in a game full of late drama.
The Bairns moved above Partick Thistle on goal difference but as it appeared to be heading for a goalless draw, the game burst into life in the last quarter.
First Falkirk goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne made a superb save to turn Iain Wilson’s fierce drive from 30 yards over the crossbar and then Queens striker Stephen Dobbie rifled a shot off the underside of the crossbar and away to safety.
The Bairns were then awarded a stoppage-time penalty for a handball and Davis Keillor-Dunn converted before being sent off for a second booking in celebration.
And then five minutes into stoppage time, the hosts were awarded a spot-kick of their own and Dobbie scored to cap a remarkable ending to the game.
