Dover boost survival hopes

Dover gave their Vanarama National League survival hopes a major boost with a comfortable 3-1 win at Dagenham & Redbridge at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
The win made it two victories in a row for the Whites and moved them eight points clear of the drop zone with just six games to go.
Andy Hessenthaler’s men went ahead after 21 minutes when Jamie Allen fired into the far corner of the net from an acute angle.
And they doubled their advantage seven minutes later when Bedsente Gomis rose highest to head home a free-kick.
Dover effectively wrapped the game up as a contest five minutes after the interval when Alfie Pavey backheeled into the net before Dagenham netted a consolation as Will Wright volleyed home 20 minutes from the end.
