Neymar cried for two days after his latest injury

The latest foot injury suffered by Neymar was much harder for the player to come to terms with than the one the Brazilian suffered in 2018.

He has revealed that he stayed at home in tears after reinjuring his metatarsal on January 23.

"It took longer to digest this time," he revealed in an interview with Esporte Espetacular.

"I stayed in my house for two days.

"I felt bad and all I did was cry.

"It was really sad.

"But the first time I had this injury I told myself we needed to hurry up and operate in order to make it back in time for the World Cup, and I wasn't so sad then."

This time around, the forward has opted for a more conservative treatment and there are hopes that he can return in the middle of April.
