That is the opinion of former Nou Camp forward Patrick Kluivert.
Rashford is in scintillating form at present and has been thriving under the guidance of interim United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since he arrived in December.
The youngster netted the only goal of the game against Leicester on Sunday, extending his scoring run to six goals in eight games.
Rashford may now well attract interest from some of Europe's biggest outfits in the coming months - and Kluivert thinks his former side should swoop for the 21-year-old as a replacement for the ageing Suarez.
"I like Marcus Rashford, a lot. It will be really difficult to get him over. But he is a good player," he told Sport360.
"I don't see a lot of players who can play in Barcelona. [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang, perhaps he can play.
"There is not a lot. Maybe some players who can play in La Liga, young players. But, for me, I think the best one is Marcus Rashford.
"He has got the skills, the attitude, he's quick, he's fast, he can score goals.

"He is not always in the first XI at Manchester United and maybe he wants to change club. So, why not?"
It is unclear how long Suarez, 32, has left at the top of the game.
However, Barcelona do not appear to be in a hurry to lose the former Liverpool star.
Suarez is still a regular starter at the Nou Camp under Ernesto Valverde.
Meanwhile, Rashford will reportedly be offered a new deal by United in the coming weeks.

And Sky Sports pundit Shola Ameobi believes he can be the Red Devils' main centre-forward for the next decade.
"I just see, obviously with Ole coming in, he just looks to have guided him in every was possible," he told the Football Daily Podcast.
"In terms of his finishing, in terms of the confidence that he has, the freedom he has.
"He could be Man U’s striker for the next 10 years. If he keeps on improving, the sky’s the limit for Rashford.
"I was pleased for him again, great finish.
"[Paul] Pogba, another great assist. They’re charging up that table, aren’t they?”
