Deja vu for Jordan Tillson as he prepares to face Cambridge
Posted Thursday, January 31, 2019 by PA
Jordan Tillson could play against Cambridge for a second successive week after joining Cheltenham on loan from Sky Bet League Two rivals Exeter.
The midfielder came on as a substitute in Exeter’s 1-0 win last weekend and could feature for the Robins after signing earlier this week.
Defenders Johnny Mullins and Jordon Forster are injury doubts.
Tyrone Barnett (hamstring), Nigel Atangana (Achilles) and Will Boyle (ankle) are all out.
Jabo Ibehre, Liam O’Neil, Reggie Lambe and David Forde are absent for Cambridge.
All four missed last week’s loss to the Grecians and the inclement weather has given little opportunity for training.
Lambe (dead leg) is the closest of the four to a return, while Forde’s continued absence with a shoulder problem means Dimitar Mitov will continue in goal.
Alex Jones signed on loan from Bradford and made his debut off the bench at Exeter. He is likely to be among the substitutes once again.
