Posted Friday, January 25, 2019 by PA
Stevenage forward Kurtis Guthrie sits out the final match of his four-game ban at home to Forest Green.
Midfielder Michael Timlin and defender Ben Nugent both sustained knocks in last weekend’s win over Morecambe and need to be assessed.
Alex Revell missed last weekend with a calf problem and is another for whom a late fitness test is required.
Fellow forward Alex Reid could come into contention for a start having replaced Ben Kennedy after an hour against Morecambe.
Forest Green’s Reece Brown has fully recovered from ‘flu and is expected to retain his place.
However, midfield is an area manager Mark Cooper is looking to keep fresh and that could mean a recall for Lloyd James, who was only substitute for the midweek win over Grimsby.
New signing Udoka Godwin-Malife, an 18-year-old defender from Oxford City, could make his first appearance in the squad.
Midfielder Dayle Grubb is still two weeks away from making his comeback from a knee injury.
