Seven years after last signing for the club, Juventus have brought Martin Caceres back to the club to replace Medhi Benatia, who is set to join Al-Ittihad in Qatar.
The Uruguayan had been at Lazio and they will receive 600,000 euros from the Turin side.
This will be Caceres' third spell at the club after first spending the 2009/10 season there on loan from Barcelona, followed by a six-month loan spell from Sevilla in January 2012 that turned into a four-year deal in the summer of 2012, with the 31-year-old last leaving the club in June 2016.
Since then, he has had spells at Southampton, Hellas Verona and Lazio.
The defender will be eligible to face Atletico Madrid in Juventus' last 16 Champions League tie on 20 February.
