Ash spot on as Boreham Wood snatch draw at Barnet

Substitute Bradley Ash’s late penalty rescued a 1-1 draw for Boreham Wood against Barnet at The Hive Stadium.
After a first half of few chances, the deadlock was broken by Barnet’s Ephron Mason-Clark in the 68th minute when he fired the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Boreham Wood goalkeeper Ryan Huddart made a one-handed save to deny Jack Taylor the chance to double Barnet’s lead and keep his side in the game.
That stop proved even more crucial when Ash netted the equaliser from the spot with five minutes left after Sorba Thomas was fouled by Simeon Akinola.
