Determined Dover deny Leyton Orient all three points

Vanarama National League leaders Leyton Orient were fortunate to escape from Dover with a point from a goalless draw after a stirring effort by the relegation battlers.
The Whites spurned a great early chance to go ahead when Orient’s Dean Brill fouled Inih Effiong through on goal. The goalkeeper redeemed himself by saving the penalty low down from the same man.
Alfie Pavey’s header was then clawed off the line as Brill worked overtime.
The O’s continued to ride their luck after the break as Pavey took a ball from Effiong and rattled the bar with a fierce effort.
At the other end, late on, Dale Gorman shot against the frame of the goal. But a smash-and-grab winner would have been extremely harsh on the hosts.
