Many reasons have been discussed as to why Santiago Solari has left Isco out of his Real Madrid starting line ups, but the clue may lie in a recent social media post from the player.

The midfielder uploaded a photo with a leading question.

"Am I fat?" he asked, hinting that perhaps the coach has prevented him from playing as he perceives Isco not to be in shape.
