WHILE Isco's career might have gone off the boil a bit this season, his missus' is thriving.
The Real Madrid ace has struggled for minutes this season, as Los Blancos have endured an indifferent start to the season.
However, this year his Wag - the incredibly beautiful Sara Salamo - has had her defining moment in her chosen profession.
Tenerife-born Salamo, 26 just appeared alongside Oscar winners Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem in Spanish movie, Everybody Knows.
The film, that was released back in September, was her biggest role yet and it could lead to her breaking Hollywood.
However, her career began on the small screen when she appeared on soap opera Arrayan when she was 18.
Salamo is a famous actress in Spain
In 2013, Salamo made her acting debut in Spanish movie Tres 60
In 2013, Salamo made her film debut in Tres 60 playing the role of the love interest, Daniella.
Then in 2015, she made her theatre debut starring in the British play, What the Butler Saw at the Cinema Nacional in Madrid.
But since October, 2017 - when she confirmed her romance with Isco - she's been thrusted further into the spotlight.
It all started rather innocently when eagle-eyed fans spied the pair liking each other's Instagram posts back in July last year.
Then, after months of social media flirting, they surfaced together on a social media post cementing their romance.
But it hasn't all been plain-sailing for the glamour couple, who have had their hardships of late.
Following a report by Spanish newspaper Don Balon, who accused Salamo of leading Isco astray on a 'vida loca' lifestyle which led to his loss in form, the gorgeous brunette was the target of online trolls.
Since 2017, Isco and Salamo have been an item
One unhappy Real Madrid fan tweeted: "Your days are numbered," which has since been deleted, which Salamo notified the police about.
Upon receiving the death threat, she offered her own retort to the troll. She wrote: "I would appreciate you not slandering me or my partner. Otherwise I'll have to take legal action."
Despite that kind of abuse, these two lovebirds are still going from strength to strength. Wedding bells could be imminent.
