Man City striker Aguero, 30, has told pals he wants to buy two flats in Deansgate Square South Tower and smash them into one huge pad overlooking the city.
The ambitious project would cost around £4million and would give him a bird’s eye views of City’s Etihad Stadium.
A source said: “Sergio fancies a sky-high apartment and this is the highest outside London.”
The striker, who has scored more than 150 goals for City since 2011, currently lives in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

He spoke of his fondness for his adopted ‘home’ city in his recently-published book ‘Born To Rise - My Story’.
He said: “Manchester is very quiet and a calm place to live. You can go for a stroll or a walk without any problem.
“There’s a real difference between me living here and when I was in Madrid and particularly Argentina.
“I can go out for a meal and people are very respectful and if they can see you eating, they leave you alone.

"If they are sure you have finished, they may politely ask if they can have a photo taken with you, but in Argentina I can’t do anything.
"I can’t go out to eat, or go to the supermarket or out shopping – it’s just car and home.
"If I go out, word gets around and a crowd will gather in minutes and that’s it.
"If I’m eating in a restaurant, people will come up and take a picture without asking.
"One guy came up once and wanted a picture so I asked him to wait for a moment and he said, ‘No, no – I’ve got to go!’
"The people in England are so polite and respectful and that’s something that really strikes me.
"They are warm and friendly but they keep their distance out of respect."
