Parkinson likely to make changes against Hull

Bolton defender Pawel Olkowski is hoping to return to action in the home game against Hull.

The Poland international was a late withdrawal before the midweek home defeat to Nottingham Forest due to a stomach bug and was replaced by Mark Little.

Boss Phil Parkinson, who made five changes on Wednesday, will assess midfielder Gary O’Neil, who missed out due to a calf strain.

Marc Wilson, Clayton Donaldson and Lloyd Dyer all dropped to the bench against Forest and are among those pushing for recalls.

Hull manager Nigel Adkins will check on central defenders Reece Burke and Jordy de Wijs, who both sustained injuries in the midweek defeat at Bristol City.

Burke was forced off in the second half due to a hip injury and De Wijs followed later after a clash of heads.

Robbie McKenzie replaced Burke on Wednesday night and could be in contention for his first league start.

Skipper Markus Henriksen missed out at Ashton Gate due to a knock sustained in last week’s home draw against Preston and will be assessed.
