Bolton Wanderers vs Nottingham Forest - Gary O’Neil missing as Bolton face Forest
Posted Tuesday, October 23, 2018 by PA
Bolton will be without Gary O’Neil for the visit of Nottingham Forest.
The experienced midfielder suffered a calf injury in the 1-1 draw at Rotherham and will not be ready.
Luke Murphy is likely to come into the squad and will battle for O’Neil’s place with Josh Vela.
Stephen Ireland will again play no part as he tries to catch up on his fitness having joined the club in the international break.
Nottingham Forest will be able to recall Jack Robinson.
The defender served a one-match ban on Saturday as Forest lost to Norwich and he should return at the Macron Stadium.
His return could allow Ben Osborn to move into a more advanced position while Adlene Guedioura is pushing for a recall in midfield.
Hillal Soudani will also be hoping for a start after recovering from a recent knee injury.
