Macclesfield Town vs Carlisle - Koby Arthur may make Macclesfield return for Carlisle clash
Posted Friday, October 19, 2018 by PA
Struggling Macclesfield will again have numerous absentees when they host Carlisle in League Two.
Koby Arthur is again available, having been passed fit after being withdrawn against Accrington through a precaution over a tight hamstring.
But – while Elliott Durrell and Ryan Lloyd have both returned to training – they remain short of match fitness for the basement boys.
Callum Evans, Danny Whitaker and Jordan Ponticelli are all missing, owing to respective ankle, knee ligaments and metatarsal injuries.
Carlisle could recall Anthony Gerrard, who has served a one-match suspension.
The promising Liam McCarron is also pushing to start, having impressed as a substitute against Morecambe.
Jamie Devitt remains an injury doubt with a shin problem sustained at the start of the month.
Should manager John Sheridan look to make further changes to a team that has only won one of their last five games, George Glendon and Regan Slater are among those who could feature in his starting XI.
