Richie Bennett could be involved for Carlisle in their League Two clash against Morecambe this weekend.
The striker has missed the last three league games through injury but is nearing full fitness and in contention for a place in the squad.
Defender Anthony Gerrard is a doubt after sitting out Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy match because of a tight calf.
Midfielder Jamie Devitt remains absent with the shin problem he picked up against Grimsby at the start of October.
Kevin Ellison added to Morecambe’s injury woes by limping off with a calf injury during their Checktrade Trophy loss to Stoke in midweek.
The Shrimps have lost James Sinclair (ankle), Andy Fleming and Alex Kenyon (both knee) in recent weeks while Zak Mills (hamstring and hernia) Steven Old and Garry Thompson (Achilles) are also sidelined.
Boss Jim Bentley is hoping Aaron Wildig and Vadaine Oliver (knee) will both be able to play through pain while Andrew Tutte is also a doubt because of illness.
Goalkeeper Barry Roche is playing with a wrist problem and Kyle Hawley picked up a knock in training.
