Premier League referee Bobby Madley 'sacked over shock Snapchat post'
SNAP: Madley is said to have mocked a disabled person online

The referees’ group PGMOL announced Madley would no longer be officiating due to “a change in personal circumstances” earlier this month.

But sources say Madley shared a picture of a disabled man with “an offensive comment about beating him in a school sports day race”.

The Sun claims a follower screenshotted the image and sent it to Madley’s boss, leading to the sacking.

The 32-year-old referee is in talks to officiate matches in Norway where he is reportedly planning to emigrate with his Scandinavian partner.

Top Norwegian referee Terje Hauge told TV 2 that Madley was open to officiating games for the Eliteserien, Norway's professional football league.

Medley’s family has since branded the Snapchat rumours “utter rubbish”.

Daily Star Online approached Medley and the PGMOL for further comment.
