LIVERPOOL appear have offloaded Loris Karius onto Besiktas - even though the Turkish club have yet to announce the deal.
Liverpool were set to send Karius away from Anfield after signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson this summer.
The £68m deal effectively meant Karius - who made two mistakes in the Champions League final in May - could leave the club.
And while talks with Besiktas were believed to the underway, the Turkish club appear to have inadvertently revealed they are set to sign the player.
Before an official announcement has been made by either club, Besiktas changed their Twitter profile to include a banner page of Loris in a club shirt, with the hashtag #cometobesiktas
But by 4.50pm UK time the banner had been taken down and replaced by a new one that simply included the original hashtag, with the addition: "#NEWESPISODE Coming Soon…"
Liverpool have started the season brightly without Karius, winning their first two games of the new Premier League campaign.
The mission for manager Jurgen Klopp this summer is to add a trophy to the progress the team has made at Anfield.
Discussing the goalkeeper's reaction after the Champions League final nightmare, Klopp said: "I am a strong supporter of the idea of just shutting up if you don't have the right words.

"And other than a few comforting words I did not have the right words. I did not have a clue what you could say.
"Neither was I angry at him nor was I disappointed in him or something else.
"I only saw his situation, and everyone would love to have the right words."
The Champions League final was seen as progress and now Klopp has been backed in the transfer market as the Reds eye the Premier League title.
Alisson was joined by Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window.
Virgil van Dijk also became the world's most expensive defender when moving to Anfield from Southampton in January.
Liverpool host Brighton at the weekend hoping to extend their 100 per cent start to the season.
They are second favourites in the betting markets for the title, behind defending Premier League champions Manchester City.
