O’Connor could be handed Crewe debut

Crewe could give a debut to on-loan defender Kevin O’Connor as they face fellow Cheshire side Macclesfield at Gresty Road.
The left-back has joined the Sky Bet League Two side from Championship outfit Preston until January and could go straight into manager Dave Artell’s squad.
The 23-year-old O’Connor, a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, played five games on loan for Fleetwood last season before injury ended his stint with the Cod Army.
The move for O’Connor follows the loss of both Paul Green and Harry Pickering to injury.
Macclesfield midfielder Elliott Durrell is likely to miss out again with a groin injury.
The 29-year-old has been out since before the start of the current campaign and manager Mark Yates is having to bide his time over the player’s return.
Following their promotion, Town are still searching for their first League Two win of the season, although they have drawn their last two league games and claimed a Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out victory over Walsall in midweek.
Goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara, on loan from Manchester United, was the hero of the shootout as he saved three Walsall penalties and is sure to retain his place at Crewe.
