Conor McGrandles and Peter Pawlett will be missing for MK Dons at home to Bury.
Both suffered injuries at Oldham last Saturday, Pawlett picking up an ankle knock early on and McGrandles requiring hospital treatment for a fracture to his eye socket in stoppage time.
Baily Cargill and Mathieu Baudry are still sidelined but are due to step up their recoveries soon.
Osman Sow is also missing but fellow striker Chuks Aneke made the bench last weekend after shaking off his recent injury.
Bury can call on the services of midfielder Callum Styles.
The highly-rated teenager joined Barnsley earlier this week for an undisclosed fee but will stay with the Shakers on loan until January.
Defender Tom Aldred rejoined Motherwell on loan on deadline day.
Gold Omotayo is pushing for a start after climbing off the bench to score a debut winner against Yeovil last weekend.
