Port Vale boss Neil Aspin ready for season opener with Cambridge

Port Vale boss Neil Aspin says he knows his starting XI for their League Two opener with Cambridge.
Aspin has brought in five players over the course of the close season with Shaun Miller, Tom Conlon, Scott Quigley, Idris Kanu and Theo Vassell all joining Vale.
And all five will be in contention to make their debut against the U’s on Saturday.
The game gives Vale a chance for quick revenge over Cambridge, who stuffed Aspin’s men 5-0 on the final day of last campaign.
Cambridge boss Joe Dunne has made less signings than any other League Two team this summer.
Dunne has added just three players – Reggie Lambe, George Taft and Louis John – and the trio are in contention to make their bows.
Striker Jabo Ibhere will be monitored after he suffered a tight hamstring in last week’s final friendly against Bishop’s Stortford.
David Amoo and Brad Halliday should be in the squad after recent knocks.
