King sidelined for Peterborough’s Bristol Rovers opener

Peterborough will be without Scotland Under-21 midfielder Adam King for their Sky Bet League One opener against Bristol Rovers.
King, signed on loan from Swansea until January, was injured in a pre-season friendly against Bedford and is expected to miss the opening weeks of the campaign.
Apart from King, Posh should be at full-strength as boss Steve Evans starts life without Jack Marriott, Gwion Edwards and Andrew Hughes.
Alex Woodyard will wear the armband with fellow summer signing Jason Naismith vice-captain.
Rovers have been hit by injuries in pre-season with Stuart Sinclair, Joe Partington and Chris Lines all doubts.
Summer arrival Tareiq Holmes-Dennis is also short of full fitness after recovering from a long-term knee injury.
The summer departures of Ellis Harrison, Rory Gaffney, Byron Moore and Dominic Telford have left Rovers short of attacking options.
But Rovers manager Darrell Clarke is hopeful of signing a new striker before heading to the ABAX Stadium.
