Americans looking to cash in on striker's popularity, which is sure to have surged even higher following his stunning debut
LA Galaxy are selling official Zlatan Ibrahimovic match jerseys for over £127.
The MLS giants appear keen to cash in on the Swede’s popularity following his shock move from Manchester United.
LA Galaxy are looking to cash in on new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic is one of the world’s best-loved players and attracts a global following wherever he goes.
The 36-year-old score twice on his debut in the first-ever Los Angeles derby against LAFC, including a stunning 40-yarder as well as a last-minute winner.
And it seems Galaxy are ready to boost their accounts as a result, with an authentic long sleeve jersey selling for £127.92 in their official club shop.
This makes it more expensive than any shirt offered up by the Premier League’s top six clubs, as well as other European giants such as Barcelona and real Madrid.
In fact, it costs over twelve times the amount the current West Ham home shirt does, which is being sold for just £10 in the club shop.

Galaxy’s Ibra-branded replica short sleeve shirt is also the most expensive of its kind, priced at £81.72.
And the authentic short sleeve top will set fans back £106.60.
It boasts a number of high-tech specs, and is also the exact same shirt worn by players on the pitch.
The authentic top is made of 100 per cent polyester and has adizero technology, making it lightweight for breathability and mobility.
The authentic long-sleeve jerseys are the most expensive on the market
But the honour of the most expensive short sleeve jersey on the market doesn’t go to Galaxy – it amazingly goes to ARSENAL, who sell their own version for £124.
The struggling North Londoners are on the verge of missing out on Champions League football for the second straight season, which is sure to take a huge hit on their revenue.
But Arsenal are looking to recoup some of their lost finances by flogging the most expensive authentic short-sleeve shirt around.
Selecting a player’s name on the club website automatically includes the addition of official Premier League badges, sending the price skyrocketing to £124, though this can be lowered to £116 if fans add the player’s name and number via the personal customisation option instead.
Arsenals authentic tops aren’t much cheaper, with a short-sleeve one selling for £124
Arsenal’s replica short sleeve shirt is also the most expensive in Europe at £79, though it is £2.72 cheaper than Galaxy’s.
Juventus also boast an extraordinarily high authentic top, which sells for £118.11, making it slightly higher than an Arsenal jersey without the automatic Prem badges.
At the other end of the scale, Manchester United boast the cheapest tops, with authentics going for £59.46 and replicas just £30.
Chelsea sell their authentic jerseys for slightly more at £62.48 a pop, but Manchester City fans will have to pay £102.95 for their version.
Man Utd offer the best value for their replicas, which cost just £30 each with a players name attached
