Lloyd Sam pushing for AFC Wimbledon debut

AFC Wimbledon could hand a debut to Lloyd Sam in their vital clash against Fleetwood at the bottom of League One.
The 33-year-old joined the Dons on a short-term deal last week after a trial and, following his midweek outing for the development side, could be in contention against the Cod Army.
Boss Neal Ardley will be hoping to call on Darius Charles, who is on the comeback trail from a hip injury.
Striker Cody McDonald’s season is over, though, after he suffered a metatarsal injury.
Fleetwood will have a full squad to pick from as they aim to take another big step towards safety.
The Cod Army have recorded back-to-back wins over relegation rivals Rochdale and Northampton and boss John Sheridan will pick from the same squad.
If Sheridan is contemplating changes he may wish to start Bobby Grant or Wes Burns.
The boss said on the club’s official Twitter feed: “We have a fit squad. I want everyone on their toes ready to play – I try and treat the players right, and they need to be ready to play.”
