Cristiano Ronaldo will accept Real Madrid signing Neymar on one condition
CRISTIANO RONALDO will reportedly end his opposition to Real Madrid signing Neymar if Florentino Perez hands him a new deal.
Neymar has been on Perez's radar ever since he broke on to the scene with Santos in his homeland of Brazil.
And the Real president was given a glimmer of hope of one day securing his services when he left Barcelona last summer.
Neymar’s spell at Paris Saint-Germain has been surrounded by claims Real will make a move for him at the end of the season.
That speculation has gone hand-in-hand with rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo does not want Perez to sign the 26-year-old though.
However, the latest reports from Spain indicate Ronaldo could end that stance if Perez meets his demands.
According to Don Balon, the Real forward is desperate for the La Liga giants to show they have faith in him as he enters the final stretch of his career.
And he is apparently eager for them to do that by handing him a pay rise that would see him earn as much as Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Whether Real will heed Ronaldo’s request and bump up his salary remains to be seen.
But Don Balon suggest it will be the only way to ensure the former Manchester United ace backs down and allows them to sign Neymar.
Real still have the matter of agreeing a deal with PSG to take Neymar back to Spain to complete.
