The Champions League draw takes place this Friday
EVERYTHING you need to know about the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals.
The last 16 saw its fair share of shocks and scintillating displays across the boar with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Tottenham all crashing out of the Champions League.
Liverpool dispatched Porto with a fantastic 5-0 first leg win before playing out a comfortable 0-0 draw at home to ensure their place in the quarter-finals.
Manchester City also made light work of their tie against, winning 4-0 in the first leg and although they were handed their first home defeat in over a year the return fixture, they too ensured of their place in the next round.
Tottenham looked as though they had put themselves in the driving seat against Juventus in their tie having drawn 2-2 in Turin but were unable to prevent the Italian side from winning at Wembley.
PSG and Real Madrid was arguably the most hotly anticipated tie of the round but the La Liga giants comfortably dispatched their opponents over two legs.
United suffered a shock defeat to Sevilla at home last night while Roma secured their place in the hat by beating Shaktar Donetsk on the away goals rule.
Barcelona beat Chelsea at the Nou Camp 3-0 on Wednesday and Bayern Munich beat Besiktas 8-1 on aggregate to progress.
When is the Champions League draw?
The Road to Kyiv is now within touching distance for the remaining teams in the competition but first they will have to get past the quarter-finals.
And they will find out their fate on Friday March 16 with the draw set to begin at 11am.
How to watch Champions League draw?
The Champions League draw will be available to watch on multiple platforms as Sky Sports, Eurosport and BT Sport will air the draw live.
There will also be live coverage as the teams are drawn right here on Express Sport.
Who can draw who?
Unlike the draw for the last 16, the quarter-finals are unseeded.
That means teams from the same domestic league can now be drawn against each other at this stage of the competition.
The team pulled out of the hat first will be selected as the home team for the first leg.
When are the games set to be played?
The quarter-final first legs are scheduled to take place on April 3/4 with the second legs following a week later on April 10/11.
