Real Madrid president Florentino chooses to sell five senior players in January

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to oversee a massive clearout over the next transfer window.
Florentino recognises their fringe players aren't up to standard - something coach Zinedine Zidane argued over the summer.
Diario Gol says Lucas Vazquez, Borja Mayoral and Marco Llorente are all set to be made available. The latter two will be allowed to leave on-loan.
Vazquez, meanwhile, has failed to step up in Gareth Bale's absence and it has been decided to allow him to leave.
Perez is also now prepared to listen to offers for Karim Benzema, while plans to sell Bale remain.
