FURY! Anger inside Barcelona locker room over Coutinho contract revelations

There's anger inside the Barcelona locker room over revelations of their massive contract offer made to Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho.

De Spiegel revealed over the weekend Barca tabled a stunning proposal to Coutinho last month as they attempted to secure the Brazil international's transfer.

The five-year contract tabled was worth a staggering €115m - or €23m-a-year. The deal would have seen Coutinho become the third highest paid player at the Nou Camp behind only Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.

The stunning reports have shocked many inside Barca's squad, with Sergio Busquets, Gerard Piqué and Andrés Iniesta all currently on significantly less.

Iniesta, particularly, is angry as Barca continue to drag their feet over new contract negotiations.
