Romelu Lukaku in for six-figure bonus if Man Utd star wins Golden Boot

The striker has a cash-for-goals deal at Old Trafford which means he will land at least a six-figure bonus if he tops the Premier League scoring charts.

Manchester United's £75m summer signing from Everton has different incentives in his contract which increase his basic £275k-a-week pay packet.

It is a similar deal to the one enjoyed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic last season, although not thought to be as lavish as the £2.86m picked up by the Swede for his scoring exploits.

But there is extra cash for goals for Lukaku, so he would be rewarded for winning the Golden Boot and also being United's top scorer.

Bonuses would also be paid for helping Jose Mourinho's squad win silverware.

Chelsea were prepared to match United's wage offer to Lukaku, 24, when they too tried to sign him in the summer.

But they felt the add-ons United agreed to were too much.
