Barcelona to spend €250M-plus to land Dembele and Coutinho in coming days

Barcelona are ready to spend over €250m in the coming days to get deals done for Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.

With Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool refusing to cave over initial offers of €70-80m, Barca recognise they'll have to go much higher to sign the attacking pair.

AS says Barca recognise they're now obliged to do deals for both players with Coutinho having handed in a transfer request at Liverpool and Dembele going AWOL from Dortmund.

BVB rate Dembele at €130m, while Liverpool are seeking similar for Coutinho.

Barca hope to lessen the financial blow by offering proposals heavily laden with bonuses.
