The 17-year-old prospect was born in Milan, Italy, in 1999 while his father was plying his trade for Inter Milan.
His son is not only blessed with the footballing genes of his father but also his mother, Milene Domingues, who was also a professional footballer for Brazil.
Ronaldo moved to the iconic San Siro from Barcelona in 1997 and played five seasons there, though enjoyed his most prolific year in his debut campaign. He eventually left for Real Madrid in 2002 becoming a 'Galactico'.
While he never won the Champions League, Ronaldo produced heroics for his national side winning not one but two World Cups in 1994 and 2002.
Ronaldo plants a kiss on the World Cup.
His son will have to go some way to replicate his fathers feat on the international stage. But the Maccabiah games is his first step into the foray.
Good luck, Ronald Nazario de Lima. Remember the name.
