Alvaro Morata looked to be in a pensive mood as the striker continues to be heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United this summer.

The Spanish forward has been relentlessly touted as a target for the Red Devils in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho looks to significantly bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford ahead of next season.

Morata is thought to be open to a move away from Real Madrid as he seeks regular playing time in the season leading up to next year's World Cup in Russia.

However, despite all of the speculation, Morata is still a Real Madrid player for now, and the 24-year-old has been enjoying the final few days of his honeymoon in Sardinia.

And it seems that the striker was in a pensive mood on Tuesday as he mulled over his future.

Manchester United continue to be linked with a host of players this summer, but the Red Devils have so far only concluded a deal to land defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica so far.
