Real Madrid hero Arbeloa: Fans would want us to sign Benzema if he played elsewhere!

Real Madrid hero Alvaro Arbeloa has called on fans to show Karim Benzema greater support.
Arbeloa announced his retirement over the weekend and sent a message of support to French striker Benzema.
He told Marca: "If Benzema was not with Real Madrid, everyone would like to recruit him. When you have him in your team and you see what he's doing, you say 'I'd like to have him with me forever'.
"I do not know why people don't like him but he's a very good player. This year in the Champions League what he has achieved will remain in history. He is the perfect striker for Real Madrid. Cristiano (Ronaldo) and (Gareth) Bale still want to have Benzema at their side."
