England's Under-20 side reached a World Cup semi-final earlier today but if they're to go any further in the tournament, they'll need to do it without Spurs winger Josh Onomah.
The 20-year-old has become a permanent fixture in the England side throughout this run but Onomah willbe missing for the mouthwatering clash with Italy in the last four after picking up a red card against Mexico - in pretty odd circumstances.
Lost for words... but credit to the lads hanging on to a good performance vs Mexico. Onto Italy now for the semis ! #U20WC

As you'll see in the clip below, Onomah was the man in possession of the ball, trying to take the game to the Mexicans, when he was confronted by two defenders.
At that point, well, it becomes pretty difficult to explain exactly what happened next.

It seems Onomah managed to land on the ankle of his opponent as he hurdles a challenge, and whether or not it was deliberate, the referee decided to give him his marching orders.
Back on April, Hull City midfielder Oumar Niasse accidentally fouled Watford forward M'Baye Niang and was probably expecting at worst a yellow card, but perhaps most likely a word from the referee.
The Everton loanee could scarcely believe his eyes when the referee Bobby Madley produced the red card.
Has anybody this season been more surprised to have a red card than Niasse? AWFUL decision. @HumbersideSport @bbcburnsy @PJBuckingham pic.twitter.com/AXn2dE0u07

We could watch this foul a hundred times and still come no closer to understanding what Madley was thinking when he awarded Niasse the red card.
Niasse sent off for this, what a dreadful decision. #HulWat pic.twitter.com/jGun9HtzG5
